Graça
The neighborhood of Graça is well known by its viewpoints: Miradouro Senhora do Monte and Miradouro da Graça with a superb view over the city, there are also the famous working villages: Vila Estrela de Ouro and Vila Berta, a very interesting historical and architectural point of interest. The Church of Saint Vincent and the Church and Convent of Graça are worth a visit in time to discover the beauty of the building and the silence of the place. There are great variety of traditional shops that still maintains the soul of the neighbourhood.
Graça was formed after the great 1755 earthquake and established its identity within the 19th century. A few places to visit nearby:
Alfama is the oldest district of Lisbon, spreading on the slope between the São Jorge Castle and the Tagus river.
A 17th-century church, Igreja de Santa Engrácia, converted into the National Pantheon in the 20th century.
"Miradouro da Senhora do Monte". Due to its high location, offers one of the best panoramic views over Lisbon.
